Billed as “the most important product introduction in the company’s 45-year history,” Mary Kay’s black, all-in-one, scratch-proof compact gives women the option to customize their choices of pressed powder, eye color, cheek color or bronzing or highlighting powders—an estimated 18 million color combinations in all—while also providing areas for applicators and a lipstick or lipgloss. The key is one large magnetic area that holds one to six products. And to address the eco-friendly side, not only is the compact refillable, but customers can turn in the company’s previous pink-and-platinum compacts for recycling. $18 (compact); $2.50-$16 (makeup and applicator components).
